ICELAND+CUBA (14 DAYS OF DISCOVERY)

ICELAND+CUBA (14 DAYS OF DISCOVERY): Can you imagine experiencing and photographing these two polar opposite countries, back to back in 14 days time? BTW, we’ve conveniently included an overnight stay on the island of Manhattan while traveling between Iceland and Cuba. So technically that’s three islands in 14 days.

EXCITING NEW ADVENTURES & UPDATES

EXCITING NEW ADVENTURES & UPDATES – I would like to take this time to tell you about several exciting changes we’ve made at PWA. As the Founder and CEO of Photo Workshop Adventures, Think Orange and Vanishing Cuba, I am very proud of our team and our drive to deliver the world’s best photo-centric adventure vacations. Below I’ve listed over a dozen enhanced and changed itineraries as well as several new adventures. There are even more coming very soon!

VENTURING TO CUBA FOR THE FIRST TIME

VENTURING TO CUBA FOR THE FIRST TIME. I researched many different photography focused trips to Cuba and quickly settled on Photo Workshop Adventures (PWA). PWA seemed to be very organized. Michael Chinnici was our trip leader, and he has made multiple trips to Cuba over recent years. I don’t mind finding my own way around certain destinations, but Cuba is a place where I wanted someone with experience to help me find great photo opportunities and Michael was the perfect person to do that.

GRAN HOTEL MANZANA KEMPINSKI LA HABANA

GRAN HOTEL MANZANA KEMPINSKI LA HABANA. Originally built between 1894 and 1917 as the first European style shopping arcade in Cuba, Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana is situated in the heart of the old Havana with a direct view of the Capitol and the Great Theater of Havana and amidst UNESCO World Heritage sites. The famous Castillo del Morro is accessible within a 10 minute drive. Experience the first true luxury hotel in Cuba.

UPDATE: LEGAL U.S. TRAVEL TO CUBA

As a leader in small group Photo Adventures around the world, we would like to take this opportunity to help clear up any concerns (or confusion) regarding future travel to Cuba. As a licensed OFAC provider of group People-to-People Educational and Photography Workshops, we are pleased to tell you that these changes will not have any major effects on our trips to Cuba. Our programs remain in place with the same itineraries we have offered for years.
